Three arrests, drugs and weapons seized at Louth drug warrant

Officers from Louth’s Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) and officers from our Tactical Support Team specialist unit carried out a planned drug warrant at a property on Burghley Crescent, Monday 21 September.  

Two men were arrested at the scene.  Several weapons, a quantity of cash, and a significant amount of drugs were also seized from the address. 

The men will appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday 23 September: 

Detectives from East Lindsey CID have carried out further lines of inquiry and a third person, a 52-year-old woman, has been arrested on suspicion of drug supply / production, and has been released on bail pending further inquiries.  

This enforcement follows a number of reports of drug-releated anti-social behaviour concerns having been raised by members of the community in respect of the property. 

We require people telling us where they have concerns, in order for us to build a solid intelligence picture to focus our resources where they are needed most.   

NPT Sergeant Kelly Palmer said:

We understand the impact that suspected drug-related activity and anti-social behaviour can have on a community, and we want residents to know that we are listening to their concerns and taking action where there is credible information and evidence to support it. 

The results of this warrant demonstrate how information provided by the public helps us build an accurate intelligence picture and target our resources where they are needed most. We are keen to take robust action against those involved in criminality, but we rely on people continuing to tell us about the issues affecting their neighbourhoods.
